Passover | Pesach
Today is what Christians around the world call "Good Friday". But the reality is today is Passover (Pesach) and for Christians that translates to the Last Supper. Today was when the Messiah sat down with his disciples (talmidim) and celebrated the Pesach (Passover) with them. It's quite sad that Christians don't celebrate this feast ordained by God because if we did, most Christians would see that the whole Passover meal foreshadows Yeshua (Jesus), which is what God had intended. As a matter of fact...ALL of God's ordained festivals have either been fulfilled by the Messiah OR are waiting to be fulfilled when the Messiah returns!
As Christians, we don't know why he was called the "Lamb Of God" or that every year during Passover a lamb shank is on the sedar plate during the Passover dinner....guess what that represents?!?!
Watch this amazing video and praise our amazing Lamb Of God!
When Jesus had finished saying all these things, he said to his disciples, “As you know, the Passover is two days away—and the Son of Man will be handed over to be crucified.” Mattityahu (Matthew) 26:1-2 NIV
The next day, Yochanan (John) saw Yeshua (Jesus) coming toward him and said, “Look! God’s lamb! The one who is taking away the sin of the world!
