Am I Doing Enough??

In case your worried about how you're doing homeschooling...consider this quote:

"Studies have shown that all of typical grade K to 8 academic content can be mastered in eighteen to twenty-four months, as can all subjects taught in grades 9 to 12. Every year American School, an Illinois independent-study High School, has several students that complete four years of high school academics in less than eighteen months." - Cafi Cohen, Homeschooling the Teen Years, page 60.

Amanda Bennett Easter Unit Studies for $5!

If you're getting ready for Easter like we are, now is a good time to snag a unit study by Amanda Bennett at a great bargin..$5.00!  These  are sooo easy for mom.  Just load 'em up on the Ipad and cuddle on the couch.  I print out the unit for each kid since I have a laser duplex printer.  I print it out in black and white and then at the end of the study we do the lapbook instead of doing it daily.  Everyday we grab our Ipad and our booklet and cuddle on the couch.  What could be easier???  Click on the picture of the unit you'd like to go see it :)

Here's a link from her site that explains how to work them on ereaders and tablets.  Just click the picture above to get this great deal.
